This is part 3 of our talk. Part 1 is here. Part 2 is here.

Louis Rosenberg has been in tech for decades. He’s worked for NASA and developed the world’s first augmented reality system after studying at Stanford.

Today we’re touching a few topics: first, why Louis believes AR will win out over VR in how we interface with the metaverse. Then we discuss what he considers will be the next generation Siri/Alexa in the metaverse and how dangerous that can be in combination with AI. We think about some of the ethical issues of the metaverse and how it's really just another step in a progression we’ve been on for decades.

Despite all this, Louis and I still believe the metaverse and augmented reality will make our world a better place, but only if it's used and controlled properly.
